Mario & Sonia from Germany

As you know, each month we highlight one of the experiences in the Descent of the Ebro river. This June are Mario and Sonia who sent us some photos of their favorite section.

Ebro   Canoe Ebro

Here was the crossing in the Xerta lock. This step is like a boat elevator to exceed 7 meters above the dam would prevent to continue our march along the Ebro River. The duration of the operation is about 20 minutes and leaves us only 30 minutes from the beautiful village Xerta known for its oranges and lemons.

Mario and Sonia took the option of the 4-day stop in Miravet and Tortosa as key points because they wanted to take to meet the Templar castle and the castle of Suda respectively.

They talk excited about the section between Mora and Benifallet; food in the restaurants they stopped and as negative points some wind before reaching Amposta.
